Ignis Sacer - Secundus (from "Ergot")

This was done superquick and dirty in a few hours for the "1-Bit Jam No.2", and I loved just throwing everything and the kitchen sink at it. In the game "Ergot" by sojioto, you are a knight looking for the source of evil behind a wave of madness that struck a medieval village. The gameplay is similar to Ghosts 'n Goblins, and I took that inspiration, crossed it with Mega Man and some historic instruments I wanted to use for quite a while, and it was done! I would change a couple of things, but I also enjoy working on a tight deadline and move on to the next thing. Other versions of this track exist in the game to represent the knight succumbing to the madness around him, but this one represents what I was going for the most. Enjoy, I did!

btw, "Ignis sacer" is latin for "holy fire", a medieval name for ergot poisoning.
